We have a 2011 RT 25SC which was new to us last year. 400 hours on the boat. Last fall when pulling the boat for the winter both thrusters were working. This spring neither will work. I have tried to trouble shoot the best I could but do not seem to be getting anywhere. The bow and stern thruster are both powered by a single dedicated battery. All of the batteries are new and fully charged. I can confirm that there is 12volts to both thrusters. The large fuse for each battery appears to be good. There is power to the controller. However the controller will not turn on when either "on" button is pushed and no light. A working controller was substituted for my controller and no change was detected. There is no noise (i.e. relays clicking, etc.) from either thruster. I read somewhere that the windless is on the same circuit. The windless has power and works. I'm not sure what my next step should be. Any help is appreciated.

Two thoughts: A. The toggles are powered when BOTH "ON" buttons are pushed at the same time and the green light comes on in the toggle panel. You said "when either 'ON" button is pushed. Pushing one button will not turn the circuit on.
B. Did you remember the separate battery switch in the battery locker, usually where you cannot see it? Have you confirmed full 12 V at the thruster motor? Easy to check at the forward one by putting a meter on the solenoid and shifting the toggle when the light is on. If not work backwards from the motor solenoids. Hope it is simple.

One thought. When you put in the new thruster battery are you sure every single connection on the old battery wat put back on the new battery. I had a similar issue with another system and took a while to find smaller gauge connector to a control hiding behind the new battery.

Thank you PanaSeaAh for your reply, the problem has been solved. Having only used the boat twice last year I had forgotten that both buttons need to be pushed to turn on the controller. I'm very embarrassed but thankful.
