Thruster remote

The selinoid went out in my stern thruster I replaced it and now it works fine from my joysticks but my remote will not operate the thrusters it turns on and blinks any ideas. Does it need to be paired if so what is procedure. 2012 R27 is boat

I had my stern thruster solenoid replaced just last month. My remote is working just fine. Although the remote blinks the batteries may be a little weak to transmit. Not hard to replace. Just don't over tighten the screws.

If you do decide to repair there is a button on the the remote module to put the system in pairing mode. Very hard to reach on my Cutwater. There is a detailed procedure on the Imtra web site you could check.

Thanks. After testing i found the hot wire going to the receiver broken in the casing we repaired wire and all is good. Love my ranger
