Hi,
I finally got installed and tested my tilt-over dinghy - worked better than expected. It's a modified fishing kayak - I tossed the center section and built a 2 seat frame with trolling motor mount. Arms extend forward, pin to platform mounted pivots. The ski pole takes a block and tackle, tilting the boat over the outboard, coming to rest on the pole. Weight is maybe 70 lbs. Speed on high is probably 7kt. Range about 1 hour with 30 ah agm batts.
Tips of floats sit about even with radar, but the valves are accessable to droop them if you like. The seat is foamed PVC on Velcro, so you can remove it for visibility.
