Yesterday on a very rough Barnegat Bay in NJ, due to a 500 boat Trump parade, a blue R-23 "Knot" in the name pulled up near me. I hope you don't think of me as rude. I was at Applegate Cove when this parade started. Applegate Cove is exposed and the wakes were beating us up. I normally carry the kayak on the roof, but due to the wave action I couldn't risk trying to get it up there. So, I stuffed it into the cockpit and took off. Just as you were pulling up the kayak was slipping out of the cockpit and dragging in the water. My wife was trying to pull same back into the cockpit. My attention was drawn to her. I did manage a short wave. I hope to cross your path again so I can make amends.

Hi Tony and Kathy
That was us in the R 23 “ It’s Knot that Bad”
We shot over for a wave hello. We saw you and you looked busy . We were traveling with another boat and had to head back
We are in Forked River . How do you fasten your kayak looking for Ideas. Would be nice to meet up a fellow tug owner

Hey guys.

Can I get in on R23 "where to carry kayaks" discussion?

Curious if you all have looked at J hooks to attached to side railings. But not sure where these woould fit exactly.

We are taking delivery of our R23 this week and making plans. 😀

Thanks!

I'm going out today, I'll take some pictures and post 'em here. I just use the roof rack.

Hi Rob And Dee,
Pleasure meeting you at Tices Shoals Saturday. Hope to see you again soon.
