Torqeedo Availability

Any ideas who may have a 2015 Torqeedo 1003S in stock. Defender doesn't. Fisheries doesn't carry them anymore.

I think Defender have them in stock now. I just bought the previous model because Defender are giving a rapid charger with them free and I thought the only difference was the USB charging port on the new one. Are the 2015's really that much better?

I'm also in the market for a torqeedo 1003S and want to make sure we get the 2015 model (if it's really that much better). Asked a salesman at West Marine today and his response was they don't know what version they have in their warehouse because they order from Torqeedo in bulk.

Following up on my own question, it looks like Defender has the 2015 version in stock, because it has the 530 Watt Hour Battery W/ USB Port. The 2014 battery is 520Wh and apparently takes longer to charge.
