Torqueedo E 45 error

I frequently receive an E 45 error message when using my torqueedo motor and the motor will not operate. The remedy so far has been to disconnect all power and/or spray connections then reconnect and hope for the best. It seems to happen most often when moving throttle from forward to reverse or visa versa. Has anyone else encountered this and found a remedy?

Yup, seen it... The manual warns that rapid reversal of motor direction causes a high current draw condition resulting in a shutdown to protect the transistors from burning up...
 
Lee: Is the E 45 error occurring as denny-o has described or is your circumstance different?
 
It has happened as Denny o describes and I have learned to pause between changes but it has also happened upon initial set up and plug in.
