There doesn’t seem to be much info on Tugnuts on this topic- has anyone with a R25 OB had experience towing a tube for kids? I’m skeptical that the swim platform cleats might not support this, but perhaps a bridle off of the stern cleats are an option? I am aware of the pylon and Turbo Swing solutions, but looking for a more affordable option. Has anyone used a bridle off the stern cleats on a R25OB? Thanks

I've heard of at least one person that uses the swim platform cleats to do tube-towing. If you did a bridle type setup like you're describing, I don't think the loads would hurt anything on the swim platform cleats.

Huge help thank you! I feel much more comfortable doing this now!

Just an update for anyone doing this in the future. Worked like a champ! I am using the lower cleats on the swim platform to connect the 12 foot airhead bridal. It floats beautifully so no trouble getting caught in the propeller. So I do not scratch up the decking on the rear swim platform I tied a bowline on each side of a 2 foot section to connect the Bridal. Even though it's low it does not create a splash or tangle problem. I use an Airhead 3 person flat tube. The kids are loving it! I have attached a picture of all the items I bought from Amazon. Again, thank you to everyone for your help!1000003738.jpg
