Transducer in R-21 classic

I am the new owner of a 1998 R-21 and want to upgrade the electronics. Where is the depth finder transducer located in the hull?

Not sure on your location for transducer, but I would look in the bilge area just fwd of the helm station. You also could trace the the cable from the back of your GPS unit to the bilge area.

I was told it would be under the laserette, starboard side. There’s a Beckson-type plate there. I actually found it just forward of the helm, starboard side.
