Transfer Routes Between Active Captain and 7612

I can't seem to find a simple answer to these two questions.
Can I create routes (and waypoints) on my Ipad in Active Captain and wirelessly transfer them to my Garmin 7612 plotter?
If yes, how?

I have my Ipad and plotter synced with the Garmin WiFi and I can control the plotter form the ipad (or phone), But the waypoints and routes I have created at home in AC don't seem to sync to the plotter when I connect at the boat.

It seems like they should. Am I doing something wrong, or do I always need to use a computer and SD Card??

You need to open the ActiveCaptain page on the plotter and check your sync status. From there you can sync your routes and waypoints back and forth. Works great!

I was all over in the plotter this weekend (and internet searching).....But I never opened the AC page!! Thank you.
