Transmission fluid type?

I'm getting ready to change the transmission fluid on my 2015 Cutwater 28 and would like to know what current owners/factory technicians prefer to use in the ZF 63 transmission. The web is filled with opinions running from 30w oil to ATF synthetic. What say you? A certain weight motor oil or ATF ? What wt oil or type of ATF do you use? 5w-30w, Dex IV, Merc/Dex, synthetic, etc.? " Inquiring minds want to know!" :?:

I know there have been other boat manufactures that use a 30W or even 15W40 but we use ATF. We provide Chevron MD-3 with our boats when sold new. Doesn't have to be Chevron but should be MD-3 if that what has been used for the past 5-6yrs. Hope this helps.
