Our 2019 27' Ranger Tug is in storage. We are working on getting our lettering ordered and neglected to measure the transom area for name and hailing port. Anyone have those measurements that you could share? Thanks!

We recently put the name on our R29 and the transom lettering width proved to be a bit of a struggle.

I initially thought I had all the room in the world and went for 60" wide, but that won't line up evenly because of the cockpit door and the propane locker on the swim step. So I figured I could do 6x48" on the white part (Upper, we have a blue and white boat) but that turns out the be difficult because of various rails and flagpole sockets and what-not. I think I can get it on there (if it every warms up again) but 4x36" inches would be more prudent at that location.

I'd suggest you take a look at the boat and measure it. There were a lot of things I forgot were there on mine.

I'll try to get down to the boat today. We had ours put on at delivery, so I can give you pretty precise measurements.

I measured the flat area on my 2020 R27 where my boats name is applied on the port stern. I have an area of 22" wide by 16" high above the courtesy light.

Do you have info you need?
If your transom is the same as 2018 i can walk out and measure. I know at some point they changed up the swim platform but i dont know if that impacted the transom.

Thanks everyone! We were able to get the information that we needed!
