Transporting an R29 from Alameda CA to Ventura CA

Hello new friends,

We are soon to be owners of an R29 and are researching our transportation options. We need to move the boat safely from Alameda to Ventura and do not have a trailer. Can anyone help point us in the right direction?

In addition to Denny's suggestion you might want to contact the Ranger Tug dealer and or the broker you bought the boat from to see who they use to move their boats. I'd also advise to ask them who NOT to use, as you don't want to turn your new pride and joy over to just anyone.

Welcome. Did you buy your R29 from Farallone Yachts? We purchased a R25 from then this past March. We keep her in Channel Islands Harbor. We trailered it down the 101.

Did you buy from Farallone Yachts? If so, have Patti call me. I may be able to help you out with a trailer. I purchased an R29 from Farallone in July and had it transported to Washington. We will be bringing it down to Ventura at the end of next summer.
