Trim and Tilt 2021 Yamaha 300F

After putting boat on lift, raised the engine, went to lower it and lights work, solenoid hums, but engine does not move up or down.

Did the safety catch accidently flip down? More than solenoid hum, you should hear the pump run, the cylinders are double acting.
If all else fails, look in manual for the location of the manual release screw (and side of bracket ? There's a hole, insert screwdriver and loosen screw to release).

Thanks for the reply. After further research, we found that the tilt motor is the issue.
