Hello!
Can't find the trim tab fuse on my 2014 CW 30 CB. The manual says it should be on block 2 behind the head mirror, not not there or in the quarterberth though. Also checked all 20 amp fuses in general, no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dave Melin

Hello Dave,

Not sure what's happening with your boat, but the fuse should be on dash panel #2 inside the head. It will be the second from the bottom on the left row in the panel. It should be a 20 amp fuse. It may be difficult to see, but you should have a label on the wire coming into the side of the panel that says "trim tabs". If that's not it, let us know what it says.

Thanks,

Ralf

Thanks for the response Ralph, I agree with your observation but my boat is not wired like the manual says. I think it must’ve been an early model. The strange thing is I’ve hunted down every 20 amp fuse on all the fuse blocks,no trim or tabs or even an unlabeled fuse.

Hi Dave,

Sorry that you're having such a hard time finding it. If the boat was indeed built different, I do not think that I would be able to track that down. Do keep in mind that it could have been inadvertently swapped out with a fuse of different value at some point in its life. BTW, I re-read my original post and think it may have been a bit misleading. Just to be clear, the fuse slot should be on the #2 panel, and will be the second fuse from the bottom, in the left row inside that specific fuse panel. Not sure if you are able to see them, but all wires coming into the fuse panels have a small white label at the ends that state which fuse it is. Sorry if I'm being a bit redundant, but just wanted to make sure it was clear.

Cheers,

Ralf
