I'm slowly loosing ATF from trim reservoir and have not found the leak in the bilge. I'm guessing it is outside at the actuators. In the event that I need to replace the rams, has anyone upgraded to a system that has a trim angle gauge? On my CB30 it is just a guessing game on where they are and an indicator would be nice.

I upgraded to the Bennett Auto trim pro last year. It shows location of tabs, retracts tabs when ignition is shut off, and tries to keep the hull level during changes in speed. I think it's a pretty good system and was worth doing. I did the install myself during the winter months. The main challenge was running a lot of new wiring, but it was not the most difficult thing to do. You will need new actuators to power the tabs, there is a controller box, and new rocker switch with indicator lights.

Awesome, thank you!!!! Do you have a link to the system you used?

Bennett AP000A1HA, you want the hydraulic version and you will also need one of the sensor equipped actuators for each trim tab or you can buy an add on sensor for your existing actuators. If you are loosing fluid then you should probably replace all of the actuators which is relatively simple.

Thank you so much for this information!
