Trolling valve

Can anyone tell me how to use the trolling valve on the R-29?

Not sure if they are all the same. Mine screws out and then it looks as if its to be pushed back in. There is an arrow counterclockwise marked Release. And one clockwise marked hold. When I screw it all the way out, we go no where.

This might possibly help if you have the Yanmar engine and transmission.

It sounds as if you may have a mechanically controlled trolling valve, in which case page 41 may help a little, or if it's electronic then page 16 may apply.

Obviously, if you have the Volvo engine and transmission then none of the above will apply.
