Recently, I accidentally clicked the 'up' switch on the dash for the windlass while the anchor was already completely up. It pulled the anchor/chain in so much that it jammed the anchor in place. While I was able to loosen up the windlass manually and unjam the anchor, I have not been able to get the windlass working again since, and shockingly, the 25amp breaker in the head area had not tripped!
Currently, If I press either 'up' or 'down' on the dash rocker, or the either of the foot switches, I hear the solenoid click, but there is not action up at the windlass. I'm assuming this means something is wrong with either the windlass itself, or within the solenoid? Unless there is another breaker or fuse that is somewhere inline here that I can't find?
Any and all thoughts are appreciated! I would also love some insight on how to remove or work on the solenoid? It is pretty dang inaccessible...
