Troubleshooting handheld VHF

Plugged in the Upper Helm VHF unit this morning on our 31 CB.
Can’t get it to come on. All breakers are on, house batteries are on, and it was working last night.
I can’t figure out if there is a particular breaker that runs this device, but all breakers are on anyway.
Does anyone know if there a fuse somewhere?

Was the main VHF on when you plugged the handheld in on the Bridget? On my boat I have to plug in the handheld first and the power up the main VHF.

Curious to know why you removed the Upper Helm VHF unit in the first place ? Security reasons maybe ?
