We are now the very proud owners of a 2010 R25SC.
After first seeing these boats a couple of years ago and following the owners comments on this site we are fulfilling a dream. I've had the Ranger hat for awhile and now have the boat to go with it.
She is presently in Fl and in a few weeks she will be transported to Rhode Island and will be on Narragansett Bay this Spring.
We have named her GANSETT RANGER.

Congratulations! I have the hat too -- maybe that means someday I, too, will have a boat to go with it. "If you wear it, the boat will come."

I'm sure your boat will love the Narragansett Bay. And you will love her. Happy (water) trails to you!

Hi Brian,

It is great to have another Ranger Tug on Narragansett Bay! I am sure we will cross paths many times this summer. I plan to launch Little Debbie in early April.

Gini I hope your right about wearing that hat! Mine almost needs replaced due to weather etc and I am still working on getting that tug. 😀
 
mspaugy, maybe the more worn the hat, the closer the boat is to arrival? If so, I'll be wearin' my hat (which seems pretty new yet) 24/7!

I'll wear mine until it's threadbare in hopes of speeding up my tug aquisition. You have to have dreams eh?

The boat is in Fl waiting to be transported by truck back to RI. I'm in RI shoveling snow and in near zero wind chill today. Something's wrong with this picture.
 
At least the boat has good sense.

The GANSETT RANGER completed her road trip from Fl to RI today.
Now we will be spending a lot of time learning and figuring out all the systems onboard.

The Gansett Ranger was launched yesterday. Today she took a two hour cruise around Narragansett Bay (RI) and operated flawlessly. I have figured out her operating systems, although turning on the thrusters had me stumped for awhile. When all else fails read the manuals. Learning all the functions of the Garmin 5212 and autopilot will take a few more trips. It was great to be back out on the water and at the helm of this wonderful boat.

Glad to hear you had a good day on the bay with the new boat! We were out there on Monday... Cruised from Portsmouth to Newport to Bristol... Found that Bristol has a nice town dock (with a pump out station).

We have a slip at the North Kingstown town marina. That's in Allen's Harbor, NK, just North of the Davisville piers.
