Judging by the way the top of the cabin is cracked down the centerline I'm guessing a tree fell on it. Boat registered in Alabama. Lots of trees. Lots of wind storms.South lake":4gb7ce67 said:

The mast was ripped off. Either floated or drove it under a low bridge. Based on the damage I'd say it was going pretty fast. My money is on a low overpass with the mast left up.

Yeah, I've snapped off a few VHF radio antenna that way, ya done't even feel it.
The one in NJ was submerged last year to the floorline in the marina for 3 days before being hauled out. Engine was not pickled.
The one in Cali has had serious impact damage. The Cabin roof damage is obvious but look closely at the cabin front port lower broken window frame and at the trailer damage too. The wheels are not aligned and flared out & the fenders are mushroomed from the impact/weight. Also the hull has chafe marks on the both sides where it was crushed against the trailer fenders and the trailer seems to be squatting low and may no longer be roadworthy. Hard to say if the engine shaft and prop are still aligned after such a hard impact.
Remember at Auctions What you see is what you get AND what you Dont See is also what you get...
