Ucluelet north to Port Hardy

Planning a trip late May for 2 weeks from Ucluelet north to Port Hardy.
I will be travelling with a friend that has the same 31cb as myself.
We have done about 5000 hours on the boats, mostly in between the island and main land and also a trip up to Prince Rupert.
We have fished Ucluelet for 2 weeks in the spring for the last 5 years and experienced Cape Caution on our up and back trip to Prince Rupert….that is the extent of our ocean experience
If you have done this trip could you share your experience? Especially the rounding of Cape Scott.
