Happy 4th of July All!
The UFlex steering cylinder on our 2011 R29 is leaking at the back of the boat, fairly minor, but a constant mess to clean up and bleeding of the lines necessary. Has anyone either done a rebuild on the cylinder (new seals) or replaced the entire cylinder assembly. I have shopped around and the UFlex cylinder assembly is just under $500.00.
I have heard that even if I replace the seals, the actual problem can be with the shaft - a pit our gouge - and the leaking would continue.
Any thoughts out there?
