Understanding batterues

Our new to us C30 CB is always on shore power except for our short trips out. We leave the house battery switch on and the three below (engine, thrusters) off. When readying to take her out, those bottom three we turn on.

The question:
This week the boat will be hauled out for about 3-4 days. How do we set these battery switches for it to be without shore or generator power during this time?

If not plugged in to an outside power source, all off unless you want a fridge to run and have enough solar power (if so equipped) to keep up with the draw on the house battery bank. The crossover switch is just for emergency use should your starting battery not be up to the task of starting the engine. It normally stays off at all times.

I just got mine back from service, they hauled it out onto their trailer. I had bait and other perishables in two fridges so I asked if they had power while I'm out of the water...answer, 'yes, we have power'...so no worries, not...when I got the boat it smelled bad and I asked if they plugged it in...'oh, for sure'...did you turn off the house batteries...yes, you should revert to AC at that point...nope, lost a lot of bait...I noticed they left an adapter for my 30 watt cable to use standard 110v power...kept it :evil: 😀

Actually understandable to a point, though they should have checked. The RT is the first boat I've owned with a DC only fridge. All the others have been AC/DC with an automatic shift to AC when available. Cost saving I guess??
