Here we are in Arizona for the winter with our R-29 moored in Seattle. My brother was checking the tug today and
heard a buzzing noise but could not figure out where it came from. As we talked on the phone trying to find the source. he finally turned the battery switch labeled INVERTER and the buzzing noise stopped. when the breaker was switched back on everything was quiet.
I left the combo charger/inverteron with all battery switches in the on position. Any thoughts on the cause of the buzzing noise.

Thanks

On our R29 the GFCI outlets buzz rather loudly when the inverter is on and there is no load on the circuits. I was told the Ground Fault plugs are not real happy with the modified sinewave from the inverter and start oscillating, hence the noise..short of being irritating not a problem. We plug our cell phone charger in and that is enough to quiet it down.

I also get a buzzing noise from the GFI outlet in the head. We just don't have the inverter breaker in the on position until we are going to use it. Thanks for the feedback.
