I live in eastern South Dakota and am planning a trip on the upper Mississippi, starting in La Crosse or Winona. Do you have a recommendation in either area?

We are planning to do the Great Loop next fall (2017) and need some lock/dam experience....

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

We would be glad to help in anyway we can. We can store your truck and trailer for you. There are a number of landings you can use in La Crosse and Winona. Cruise up river to St. Paul, or take the St. Croix to Stillwater, or you can go down stream to Guttenberg IA or points beyond. We have river charts you can use. Just let me know how we can help.
