Is it just me?...or are the "retail" prices listed for used Ranger tugs on NADA really low? :shock:

eg. 2001 R-21 according to NADA is in the range of $ 13k but any I've seen listed are listed in the region of $ 24k. NADA shows 2005's as being in the $ 19 k range.........

Is NADA that off the mark?

Yes, NADA can be far, far off the mark.

There's another guide, BUK, BUC (whatever) that usually more accurate. Could even be others.

If you're looking at YachtWorld and have a friend who belongs to their group, you can get a listing showing asking and selling prices for the past year.
