My 21 classic looks really good from 10 feet, but up close, it definitely needs some deoxidation on the burgundy. I've done a few spots with my broker recommended two step process:

Prism metal polish and fiberglass deoxidizer and then Prism Mirage sealant and protectant. (The latter goes on like a wax, but the bottle says it doesn't contain wax).

They seem to work really well with not a lot of elbow grease. But, I've never used those products before and wonder if anyone has had any bad effects with them. Too harsh? or any other negatives?

I've used automotive products on my prior boats with mixed results.

The Prizm products were highly recommended by owners on this site some time ago. I think the company gave out free samples at rendezvous and everyone drank the cool-aid. I've used them both and gave up on the sealant, I didn't care for the results and it didn't last long when exposed to the environment. I now use the Prizm Polish to deoxodize then follow up with Collonite Fleetwax. Prizm Polish is also good on all the bright metal.

I agree with Brian. The cleaner works ok but the sealant does not last very long at all.

Me too. There was a "rave" review here on Tugnuts, so I ordered both products. The polish does clean/prep the gelcoat and metal surfaces well. The sealant was VERY under-whelming...the first day the gelcoat looked nice and shiny but it faded back to pre-treatment condition within a week.

Agreed. I too bought into the prism hype. Last summer I did a test where one side of the hull was done with prism polish and mirage sealant (two coats) and the other with Meguire's one-step compound/polish and Meguire's premium boat wax (two coats). The Prism effort looked a bit nicer when done, with brighter colors. But it faded much faster than the Meguire's...like in a few weeks. I love using Prism on the stainless and the glass bowl in the head. But I am hauling the boat next week for its spring clean up, and going with the Meguire's. And hiring my kid to do the muscle work with the rotary buffer.

Alrighty then, I'll use up my current expensive supply of the non-wax mirage and then try something different. Glad to hear that the polish stuff works great. Since my boat is on the water and in the sun only about two months out of the year, the stuff I have may work fine as long as it lasts.
