V-Berth portholes leaking

Hi everybody,

I see clear signs that my v-berth portlight openings are leaking water.

My boat is a 2016 C28. What should I do in this case to make them watertight again?. I´m adding photos to my album so you have a better view.

All 6 of mine leaked. I had them removed and resealed. They looked like an amateur had sealed them. Voids, incomplete coverage.

I used 3m 4000

My daughter sat on the v-berth hatch of my Monterey 242 and cracked the glass. Had to replace the entire hatch unit with a slightly larger size. Used 3M 4000 sealant. Never had any leaks.

Did you remove both the outside and inside parts or just one?

Just remove the screws on the outer stainless trim pieces, and reseal there. No need to remove inside.
