value of a sea king trailer

needing to register my trailer for my 25 ranger ,,, can anyone give me an approximate value of a dual axle sea king trailer, with surge brakes ?? it sort of came with the boat, so i have no idea of what to tell DMV as to the purchase price of the trailer... help me out here tugnutters!! thanks,, steve.... notaclue ....

You bought yours used and if I remember right you have hull #25. I have hull number 24 also with a Sea King Trailer under it. The value of mine new was $7,500. If you were to try and sell it today, you would more than likely only get $4,500 to $5,000.

You could go a bit lower since you are in California and they do charge according to value. The good thing is, you only have to register it once as long as you own it. There are no annual renewals in California.
