Velair AC performance issues

We have a Velair AC unit in our 2025 R-25. It has performed poorly. I removed the thermistor from where it was stored and ran the cable to under the dinette table which improved the performance somewhat. It still runs for a short while before shutting down. The seacock is wide open and filter is clear. Notes, comments, solutions?

We're having similar issues. I'm wondering if the thermostat is reading the existing temperature wrong.. I set ours to 70 and the existing temp says 66, but the heat doesn't turn on. I have to crake the heat up to 80 before it turns on.
