We bought a new Verizon Novatel wireless MIFI 2200 3G Intelligent mobile hotspot router. Bought new and never activated. Includes MIFI connect card, wall charger, Novatel rechargeable battery and internal booster antenna. I paid $95.00 and will sell for $45.00. If interested send me a PM and I can send photo's or answer questions. Selling because we've gone a different way with our traveling/portable wifi.

Hi, Jim & Lisa,

Your post begs the question: What direction ARE you going with wi-fi on the water?

We recently upgraded from our old I phones to the new I Phone 7's. Before the new 7's we had an old unlimited Verizon internet program that we used while we traveled, which ran $60 a month for about 10 years. Two things happened...first they began throttling down the internet reception (our thinking) and they raised the price to $85 per month. Verizon was doing everything they could to force us out of the unlimited plan, one they no longer offer for new portable internet contracts, so we closed the account. With the new 7's we still have Verizon cell service so when we travel we'll increase the gigs to meet our cruising travel needs and have the cell be our hotspot. In the end by being able to increase and then reduce the cell phones gigabytes on demand we figured the cost to be about a wash. At home we have Charter Spectrum internet service and suspend the service when we travel for any great length of time. Hope this helps answer your question.

Jim
