Wallace Stove Blower Fan Switch

I tried searching the forum for any similar problems but did not find anything. I'm wondering if anyone has had a problem with engaging the switch for the blower fan when lowering the cover on their Wallace stove? The roller on the right side is less than an 1/4" from resting on the roller guide which than pulls up on an lever that than makes a connection on the switch that turns on the blower fan. I've temporally addressed the problem by sticking a fork under the roller. Looks like the easiest solution would be to get a larger diameter roller or somehow adjust the height of the lever that attaches to the roller but I can't seem to locate an option for this in it's design.
