Hello,

We have a 2018 R23 and am wondering how long the boat warranty is valid on it. We bought it slightly used and had the warranty transferred to our name in August, 2018. Also, does the warranty cover galvanic corrosion on the transom and power tilt for the motor? We have had quite a bit of corrosion due to electrical issues with our moorage dock.

Best source...call factory. It is the only answer that matters. But generally 1 year.
 
Hi John,

That's a great question. The answer lies in when your boat was originally sold to the first owner. The warranty starts on the original delivery date and lasts for one year. Unfortunately the galvanic corrosion you are experiencing is not covered by warranty, as we don't have any control over how the boat is exposed to electrolysis like what you are seeing in your marina. Also, this is not a defect with the boat.

For checking the warranty, if you can give me your hull number I can look up the original sale date and let you know if you have any warranty remaining.
