Can someone tell me where the fuse is for the washdown pump? The switch at the transom shows power but checking the leads at the pump shows none. I traced a brown line marked "wash pump" to a connection block near the batteries but so far haven't been able to locate any fuse. Have checked the fuses in front of the steering wheel although I suspect the fuse I need is back aft between that battery block and the pump. Thanks for any help.

On my c30, there is a fuse right next to the switch. I did find corrosion on my fuse and wiring caused it to fail. I replaced the fuse and holder.

I have a 2011 R25. I have a fuse block near the battery on/off switches. There are two rows of auto type fuses on this block. My washdown pump fuse was bottom right 20 amp fuse. I suspect the electrics changed frequently in the earlier years so who knows. Hope this helps.

If your fuse is one that is next to the switch it is a small black knob. Just twist and it should pop out. The fuse holder is susceptible to corrosion. Clean the contacts thoroughly. Also, clean the switch contacts where the wires connect. There have also been occasions where the butt connectors were not making connection. And then you could just have a bad pump. Once you are sure the fuse and its contacts as well as the switch contacts are okay. I would make sure you are getting power to the motor. Use a volt meter or circuit tester. Pierce the hot wire just before it enters the pump housing with the positive lead and then the other wire to ground to ensure it is getting power. This will determine if the pump is just plain shot.
Now the other issue sometimes is the pressure switch gets stuck. Remove the water outlet connector on the pump to release pressure. Reconnect and turn on power. Tap the pump hard a few times and the pressure switch may release and you should be in business.

Let us know how you make out.
