Looking at the C30s, wondering if the Splendide vented combo would fit in place of the cockpit fridge.

The hole needed for it would be 23 7/16" wide, 23 5/8" deep, and 33 1/2" high.

WHAT!!! washer/dryer?
Dang, if you pull that off, I'd love to see some pictures and specs. I'll never show that to my wife.
Very curious. Keep this thread updated with progress please.
Could it be a top loading if you cut the surface of that platform?

Not aware of any compact, combo, top-loading ones.

If it’s the one I’ve seen in RVs , the 7100XC it is a single unit that is both the washer and the dryer. It’s a front loader and pretty sure you couldn’t tip it on its back to make it a top loader. It’s ventless so no venting is needed. There is an older model (2100XC) that does need venting. I assume you just need appropriate amped A/C power, hot & cold water connections and a place for the drain hose to drain for the 7100XC.

A word of advice on the Splendide - if you install one get the vented version, the unvented just doesn't dry well. Maybe somewhere it does but I had one here in the northwest on another boat and I nicknamed it the "washer/wetter", evaporative drying simply doesn't work here no matter how long you run it. I swapped it out for the vented Splendide and it worked really well, just don't overload it, do small loads at a time and it will wash and dry really well.

I installed the Splendide 2100XC in our new boat which is much larger. We previously had an R-27 classic and a friend has a C30.

This machine will NOT fit in the cockpit of any of the Cutwater or Ranger models.

You will need to move up to the R41 to get Laundry.

I guess you could theoretically radically modify the interior of a C30, but you would have to lose the quarter berth to even have a chance of a place to fit the machine.

You might want to look at BEHREN's model #BWBG-7 with a foot print of only 7.25 X 14.5 inches will fit on any vessel even a R-21! Easy to use and reliable, only draw back is it does not come with a dryer. With Christmas around the corner, What a great gift for that little lady in your life. Bob

The Splendide 7100 ventless has just been replaced by the 7200 and we just purchased one for our sailboat (will not fit in our R 21 EC). The CampingWorld stores got them first but they still have a stock of the 7100's that they said they would be closing out. When CampingWorld does close outs on the Splendide washers they have been under $900.
The differences between the 7100 and 7200 are color (old is "plantinum" and new one is white), new controls (more digital) and they company claims the new one is quieter.

We do use a ventless at our business and it does take some getting used to, and it does dry slowly. The real problem with our older ventless we have is getting things too hot and too dry and shrinking clothes. We have not used our Splendide yet but over and over we have read in reviews that any complaints are usually caused by not fully reading the manual and following the directions. The ventless washer/dryers are not as easy to operate and understand as home washer dryers.

Walmart # 553935630 is a popular accessory to that Behren's model. Remarkably low operating cost.
