Has anyone purchased a Sling Box to watch their Cable TV channels onboard?

Is Hi Speed internet a prerequisite for Sling Box? Our 3G cell router gives us good coverage, but poor video. I would think that we move around too much for that to work well for us. We do have an Intellian In motion satellite receiver coupled with Dish Network for HD TV. We mostly watch the local channels in the area. Local up here being the Seattle channels. We get them well through the San Juan Islands and Gulf Islands up into BC.

With daylight at 9PM and days getting longer, that does not leave much time for TV before I doze off anyway. 😀

I considered it, but as posted above, you need good internet access. I found many marinas are adequate, but I wouldn't even consider using my hot spot since using video will use about 1 gig per hour.
