This is not an exactly what you are asking but I will give you our solution that we used in our Cutwater and now in our Pilot 34. I installed a whole house filter (Dupont) This filter is installed after the water pump before the accumulator tank. It will filter most sediment, odor, and chorines to give a decent taste. It does not filter any nasty chemicals but for the most part marina water is city water. If the marina is on well water it may be hit or miss. So we use a Brita pitcher for our drinking water. We use this for our drinking water so we do not have to keep a case of bottle water on board. We fill it as needed and it is filtered three ways. I use a Camco water filter attached to the hose when I fill the tank, I have a charcoal filter installed in my whole house filter that filters all the water that comes out of the tank, I fill the Brita 10 cup water pitcher for drinking water. I actually think the water is better than bottled water! I have a small bungee that I wrap around the pitcher and attach to the small rail that is located along the galley. This holds the pitcher in place as we are cruising. After about 4000 miles of cruising no spills and good drinking water. A not the positive to this system I have never had my faucet screen plug up or reduce flow. There is no sediment in the lines the filter captures it. So good flow when showering or washing dishes. I did look into installing a drinking water filter under the sink but the cabinet space is valuable real estate.
