Water Heater Removal 2014 R31CB

All fittings and electrical connectors are off but I cannot get the water heater out....caught on the mounting feet....can they be removed or am I missing something?
 
The mounting brackets are normally screwed to the floor where accessible. Our R27 only has one bracket accessible. It has 2 screws. The other end tucks under an L-shaped bracket on the floor.
