How do I proceed to correct a “water in fuel” warning issue on Garmin?
I will change fuel water separator. How is warning message turned reset?
It is Volvo D4 300 2017 Ranger Tug 29. It sat in my garage for past 9 months in Seattle area. I put one gallon of sea foam in tank and ran 10 minutes prior to storage. How can I tell if there is water in tank?

First thing you do is check your filters to see if there is water in your filters. Drain the primary racor filter first. If you see water draining out of the filter you probably have water in your tank. If you do not see water in he primary chances are there is not water in the secondary and you are getting a false code. Some additives will cause the Volvo water sensor to set off water in fuel code. Drain the secondary filter and prime system and see if the code goes away. The sensor could also have failed. There are several threads about this on TugNuts. I would not change the sensor at first. Drain and prime the fuel filter and run the engine to move the fuel through the filter first.

Thanks Brian
No water in fuel, I had sensor wire disconnected from several months ago when I loosened the filter but not replaced it yet. This was the filter from hell to brake loose.
I have not used the boat for months and I was going to replace the filter before I use the boat. I was just running boat in my driveway, before I replaced filters.
