If the water was introduced thru the anchor locker, there are two possible ways. One, the drain pipe is disconnected, easy to check both ends of the hose after removing the panel covering the locker box at the bow from the inside.
The other possibility, and I had this happen to me, is thru a gap between the lower half of the anchor locker and the upper part which is part of the deck. Both are mated and glued to each other, however in such a fashion the smaller bottom part creates a lip inside the locker, and if not properly glued can cause water to enter forward cabin.
I had to reseal from inside the anchor locker that lip and the gap with 4200. After that the leak was gone. In my case even rain hitting the deck would find its way into the cabin, by running along the wall of the locker and following it until a gap to the inside was found and water would then drip thru it and outside the carpeted area to the berth. Not enough to cause standing water but enough to get bedding wet and could cause mold to form inside.
If I could, I would replace the locker with a deeper one for the chain to have more fall height and prevent chain jamming in the box
