water makers

Have you ever installed a water maker on a Ranger 31? If so, where did you , or if not, where would you, locate the unit?

Rather than permanently install a water maker, we used a Rainman portable water maker. We put the power unit in the
starboard "lazerette" locker, up forward by the batteries, and the case holding the membranes fits perfectly under the
starboard fold-out seat, when not in use. Not as convenient as a built-in watermaker, but it worked great (same
capacity), at half the price.
