Water pump filter cleaning for fresh water tank pump

Hi All,
I have a 2018 RT CB 31. Can anyone tell me the location of the fresh water pump that supplies all the on board faucets. I also need instructions on how to clean the fresh water pump filter.

Hi Marnis, I have a 2016 31CB. On my boat it is below the rear hatch inside the cabin right in front of the glass door to the cockpit.

There are a couple of push fittings to get it off the hoses. Your water tank does need to be empty to service the filter. Getting that little o-ring back in there can be a pain when it gets a little bit older. I ended up buying a complete replacement filter on amazon for something like $12. Also,, surpisingly, my stainless filter mesh actually rusted through.
