New owner of a 2007 R25. The sink and head faucets are working intermittently, they will work for 4-5 seconds and then stop. If I wait for a minute they will work again for 4-5 seconds. I am assuming it is a clogged water filter, or faulty pump diaphram. My problem is I don't know where to access the filter and pump. Sounds like they may be behind the refrigerator, please help me. Thx Gene

Not sure where the pump is on the 25, but you may want to check the internal screens on your faucets. Some of the faucets also have a check valve that gets clogged. That is located where the flexible hose connects to the faucet. You can determine if the issue is with the check valve or the faucet screens by unscrewing the head from the hose and turn on the water. See if it runs freely from the hose. If it does run freely then your screens in the head need cleaning. If it does not run freely then check the check valve. if after that is cleared then it may be the screen at the pump or the pump itself. I am sure an R-25 owner will chime in on the location of the pump. I seem to remember someone saying that there is an access door from the v-berth.

As I recall (I'm not on the boat), on our 2006 R-25 SLO Ranger, the water pump can be accessed by removing the heater fan below the helm step. You should be able to remove four screws and pull the screen and fan assembly out and to the side.

When we first purchased our 2008 R25 we had several problems with our water pump so I became very familiar with it. Our water pump is behind the heater under your feet at the helm. Our pump did not have a filter and some plastic shavings cause damage to the pump diaphram. As a result the pump did not maintain a prime well and flow was greatly reduced. Good luck on finding the problem.

Woo Hoo! You folks are great! Found it and cleaned the filter. Pump is OK. Many thanks. Gene
