I am a new owner of a 2013 Ranger 27 Tug
Has anyone gained access to their Ranger 27 water tank by cutting a small access hatch in the floor?
Has the factory ever provided dimensions to locate the best place to access it, clearance under the floor etc.
We lived on our Island Packet35 for five years and the aluminum tank and lines required flushing once per year. We used the tank water for cooking and drinking, running a separate T line through a General Ecology Seagull water filter under the sink.
We had easy access to the tank and used an auxiliary pump when treating and flushing the tank and lines. This saved the water pressure pump from a lot of use and allowed a thorough cleaning.
