I have recently acquired a 2019 R-29 CB. It did not come with any manuals. I downloaded the manual for the 2022 R-29.

On page 5 of the manual, it states that there is a 45 gallon freshwater tank.
On page 14 of the manual, it states that there is a 60 gallon freshwater tank.

Which is it? And is it the same for the 2019 R-29s?

My 2021 has 60 fresh and 40 holding tank.

Our 2021 R29S has a 45 gallon fresh water tank. At one time Fluid Motion also included the capacity of the hot water tank when they quoted the fresh water capacity which technically it does hold but it is not really usable because when the fresh water tank goes dry the pump can not pump the amount still held in the hot water tank.

I have 2018 R29S. I have always been told that the Freshwater tank is 60 gallons. I feel like I probably have a 60 gallon tank as a gut feel.
This past year or so, I have heard discussion that the modern R29's have a 45 gallon fresh tank.

The OP said that the manual says both - I have not confirmed this-but it would certainly explain the discussion.

I would really like to see the factory chime in on this and give the correct answer once and for all.

Thanks!

Rocky

Hi all,

Sorry for any confusion, but we've been installing 45 gallon water tanks on the R29 for years and still do so. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ralf

Hi Ralf, thanks for being the source of truth! Might want to change the manuals.

Well this makes me fell a bit better, seems like we 'burn' through water pretty fast. I thought we were going through 45-50 gallons rather quickly. I never let it get below 1/4 tank for fear of sucking air into the lines, so now I know I have about 35 gallons of usable capacity.

How do I get my discount for the missing 15 gallons I don't have? 😀 I'm kidding!!! Love my boat!

Thanks for this clarification. You might want to correct the R-29 manual.
