Last month we received our new Ranger Tug R29. Due to other commitments, she will remain on the trailer until October.

There is water in the tank. Should I drain it or will it be OK?

Thanks for the assist.

The water will spoil. Drain it and flush it in October.

Many theories on what to do after you drain the water. Here is what I do; After you drain the water via the taps, put about a 1/4 cup of bleach and add enough water back into the tank to regain suction and enough to run it through both hot and cold in all taps until it runs out again. Turn off the water pump. Then drain the water from the water heater by opening the pressure relief valve and then the drain valve. When all the water stops coming out close the valve. When you recommission add about 5 or six gallons of water and run it dry through all the faucets. Fill the tank up and you should be good. I usually carry drinking water in gallon jugs and use the tank water for all other things. After a few refills I will use the tank water only when necessary for drinking, but use it for cooking etc. So far I am still alive.

Some people use Vodka instead of bleach. I did not have success with that, but after a few drinks from the initial tap who cares!

Thanks all for the info!
