Thanks to all you tugnuts, especially Jim and Lisa (Kismet) and John and Laurie (Laurie Ann) we are Ranger 25 tugnuts.
We have never owned a boat, and only have been on a few boats, but we could not resist the longstanding temptation.
After years of consideration, the Ranger tug came out on top. We moved to the east side of Vancouver Island a few years ago and have now settled in Qualicum Bay. How perfect! The Salish Sea at our doorstep and the west coast minutes away. Today, we headed to the Port Boathouse in Port Alberni , about a 35 minute drive past the scenic Cathedral Forest and Cameron Lake, to meet with Dave Turner and go for a test run. We were amazed. The boat, Dave, and of course the amazing scenery just in the harbour area. Oh, the possibilities....as you all know. Herb and Lori and Noah (our sheltie)
