Weaver Davit System

I have a Weaver Davit system on my R-27. It uses the Weaver Leaver to keep the motor mounted on the inflatable. I also use a Weaver Winch to haul the entire system up and vertical.

Does anyone else use the winch? If so, where is it mounted? Would the overhang from the cabin door be able to hold a load of approximately 150lbs? Where do you attach the line from the winch to the inflatable?

Hi Barry,

I have one, rarely use it. It's mounted on the bulkhead just to the L side of the door. My raft weighs about 90lbs. I usually use a line attach to a ring or handle on the far side of the raft, middle. If I have two people we just pull it up verticle, If I'm by myself I would need the winch. I wouldn't attach it to the eyebrow.
