Webasto FCF 12000 A/C and heat

Our recent R27 has the above and while in a marina with shore power we ran the unit all night for heat. Audibly the fan only has one speed regardlessly of whether set on H,M,L or auto and the fan never goes off. In the background, the compressor cycles on and off seamingly as needed. The heat was set on 65 and the overnight outside low was in the mid 30s.
Is this consistent with others experience?

I know on my furnace it is very hard to tell the difference in speeds. I know if you check the manual there is a way to set the fan on always on or auto. I find I prefer the fan to go off when the heat is not on as it feels draughty . I leave it always on in the summer for cooling. Others in my crew prefer the fan as white noise for sleeping . 🙂

Hello Rwnorton,

I emailed Webasto to double check and they said "the pump and compressor will cycle but the fan will stay on all of the time."
