There have been several threads on this subject in previous posts. This is in regard to a 2016 R27.

I have stuck several clearing items into those opening to make sure nothing is obstructing the passage. But I noticed
in the starboard aft corner, where the transducer is located, standing water that does not seem to want to drain.

Today I stuck a pencil cam into those openings to see whats going on. The weep holes going aft from the engine room, one into the stern thruster cavity, and the other one into a similar cavity at the stbd side of the rudder, seem to be free.

Then there is the said area of the transducer. This weep hole seems to lead to a cavity underneath the panel that covers the floor of the stbd storage locker where the water heater, charger, inverter are located. There seems to be a side weep hole a few inches aft of the thru hull strainer. It seems to be partially obstructed what looks like fiberglass webbing (see my album). I presume there is a similar arrangement at the port side

Would be nice to get some detailed pictures posted from the factory what the structure under the deck looks like before the cockpit is mated with the hull to understand how water is draining from those areas. Perhaps inspection openings would be a good idea.

Did you try inserting a long (about 12 inches) 1/4 in rod through? Sometimes during the forming those channels are not cleared during assembly and they need a thorough clearing post purchase.

I created a "snake" tool for clearing those weep holes by securing a 24" piece of 1/4" stainless cable to a wood starter pull handle. Works like a charm!

Agreed. It is not clear to me what is involved in the passage under the starboard and port lockers. There are strainers in the drains at the very stern end of each locker but the weep holes exit in the engine compartment several feet forward. I'm not sure if there is a hose between the two or some other channel. I drained the hot water tank recently via this route and noticed it takes a fairly long time for water to exit the weep hole after it enters the strainer.

A fairly long flexible clean-out would definitely be needed though I haven't tried it as the water drained OK. A straight rod works for cleaning the weep holes to the stern thruster compartment.

stwendl, can you fit your pencil cam past the loose fiberglass to see what is behind it?

The obstruction in the weep hole going to the sides is too stiff for my cam to go thru. I inserted the cam from the sounder weep hole and it went into a larger cavity which I believe to be the space under the wood floor of stbd locker.

This what prompted me to post this thread and request pics from the factory before the parts are glued together.

If the obstruction of the side weephole is fiberglass matting then pushing it thru may expose some un wanted areas. The obstruction realm needs to cut with a tool like a hole saw to inflict the least amount of fracture of the obstruction beyond the opening. Just imagine you drill a larger hole into a particle board. You may remember what happens on the other side if there is not support. At least that's my thinking here and i may be a bit over cautious

Yes, I agree, factory photos would be nice.
